ABOUT
Meet Jackie Glenn

Jackie believes that every child and family deserves support in the grief that accompanies life's trials and is passionate about gently nurturing families toward resilience.
In her early professional work, Jackie dedicated herself to vulnerable infants and children placed in residential homes due to abuse, neglect or disability. She then worked in an early intervention clinic within a hospital before taking an advocacy and leadership role at United Cerebral Palsy. Jackie stepped away from professional work and devoted herself as a full time wife, mother, and healthcare advocate, modeling resilience for her own children who navigated complex healthcare experiences. In the most recent years, after completing her master's degree in child life, she dedicated herself to pediatric behavioral health and weekend coverage of all medical units at Children's Hospital Colorado. Now also a certified grief educator, she recently started her private practice, Ordinary Hope, providing community child life and grief support services.
Jackie brings warmth, compassion, trauma-informed insight, dedication and advocacy to children and families, shaped by over 30 years of combined professional and personal experience with grief, loss, trauma, and illness.
